My littloo baby, you're now standing up holding on to things. Last week I showed you that you can stand up holding on to the sides of your cot. Boy am I regretting it now. Haha! Not only have you mastered standing up in your cot now, but you're also trying to stand up on your own as long as you can find some support. It's another thing that you are not able to stand by yourself even when you get up. But when has that ever stopped you? I love how relentlessly you try till you succeed! Muaaaaaaaah!
So last night you woke up at 2 am and after Dadda had tried to put you to sleep for 30 mins he gave up and asked Mumma to give you a massage because you were so exhausted from walking at the airport. After your massage you were sleepy, but as usual, you did not want to sleep. Mumma rocked you for 30 mins before you finally went to sleep. 10 mins after Mumma put you in your cot, you woke up! Played by yourself for about 10 mins and then cried out for Mumma again! So of course, having just drifted off to sleep, Mumma was not pleased to be up again in 20 mins! You might have gotten one tiny little slap and scolding which you completely ignored and kept on jabbering at Mumma from your cot! So Mumma gave up and sat in the rocking chair while you played in your cot. Which basically means you kept standing up holding on to different corners of the cot and looking at Mumma and smiling, very pleased to have stood up!
Next, you proceeded to pull on the string that holds the cot bumper in place and pulled a few of them off. So it was a match of you opening the strings and Mumma tying them back again, as tightly as possible! Then you went over to the side where we hang the pockets in which your moisturizer and wet wipes are kept. You played with the moisturizer bottle for a while and then promptly untied the string that holds the pockets in place!
After 1.5 hour of playing around, when you were starting to tire out, Dadda came and took over and put you to sleep. Finally at 5.30 you were out! Tsk tsk when will you learn to sleep through the night?
